According to @Hajun_BY, in July-August, a training session with conscripts of the territorial troops will be held in Orsha district (Vitsiebsk region). It’s planned to draft 110 reservists.
The costs of the training session will be financed from the budget of Orsha district. Initially the national defense expenditures in the district budget for 2024 were only 15,500 BYN ($4,832). However, in May the budget was adjusted, and the expenditures increased 10 times (to 158,249 BYN ($49,334)). This amount is almost seven times more than in 2023.
Preparations also continued for a training session with conscripts of the territorial troops of Vitsiebsk district. It can be expected that the training sessions in Vitsiebsk and Orsha districts will be held simultaneously.

This is the first in a series of posts about the key military events of June in Belarus.
• A sudden combat readiness inspection of the Belarusian Armed Forces began in June, as well as drills with non-strategic nuclear forces were held.
• Aviation activity of the Belarusian Air Force increased 1.5 times. It’s connected with the rehearsals of the parade that took place on July 3.
• “Vitsiaz” special forces detachment was established in Vitsiebsk. This is the 13th special forces detachment in the Internal Troops.
• The number of the Russian Armed Forces in Belarus slightly increased due to the arrival of the contingent to participate in the parade on July 3.

Sabotage and reconnaissance groups, drones, caches with weapons and a sudden combat readiness inspection: What was it?
One of the key events of June in Belarus was another sudden combat readiness inspection of the Belarusian Armed Forces. It all started when on June 20, the State Security Committee of Belarus said about the increase of the Ukrainian military group near the borders of Belarus, and the next day the Ministry of Defense of Belarus announced the beginning of the combat readiness inspection.
According to the head of the General Staff Muraveika, the inspection was to involve units of the Special Operations Forces, Missile and Artillery Troops, artillery, SAM systems, aviation, UAVs and means of electronic warfare, and it was to take place on the territory of Homiel and Brest regions.

There are more Russian military in Belarus, but it won’t last long
According to Belarusian Hajun, the number of the Russian military contingent in Belarus increased by 25% in June. This is due to the fact that in June, parade teams of up to 500 people and equipment of the Russian Armed Forces (up to 20 artillery systems) arrived in Belarus to participate in the military parade on July 3. In other terms, the situation with the Russian military contingent on the territory of Belarus hasn’t changed.
As of the end of June, the locations and the number of the Russian Armed Forces in Belarus were as follows:
• Baranavichy, Machulishchy airfields and Minsk – up to 500 people (participants of the parade on July 3);
• Mazyr (Bokau) and Ziabrauka airfields – 500-600 people.
• The 43rd Vileika communication center and Baranavichy radio-technical node – up to 1450 people.

Movements of the Russian Armed Forces by rail – for the first time in six months
In June, for the first time since January 2024, movements of equipment of the Russian Armed Forces by rail were recorded. This is connected with the transfer of military equipment, which took part in the parade on July 3 in Minsk.
On June 8 and 13, two military cargo trains with the following military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces arrived in Minsk:
• 10 T-34 tanks;
• Passenger cars with the Russian military;
• Msta-B howitzers;
• 2S12 Sani mortar systems;
• KamAZ and Ural trucks.

According to our data, in June, there were 12 arrivals of passenger and transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces and FSB, which is 3 times more than in May (there were 4). It should be noted that most of the aircraft that arrived in Belarus last month are not directly related to military activity in Belarus.
