Defenders of Chasiv Yar regarding Russian attacks on the town on 22-23 May:
«➡️ For two days in a row, Russians attempted to break through the city's defenses with mechanized groups and airborne forces;
➡️ On the night of May 22, Russians tried to break through defences using several units of equipment, including a T-90 tank. The video shows the result of the assault;
➡️ Crews of two BMPs and T-90 partially burned inside their vehicles, and the rest were prevented from leaving the battlefield alive by our unit and air support;
➡️ Currently, after two days of unsuccessful attacks, Russians are regrouping and are not attempting assaults of such intensity that could lead to a breakthrough in the defenses;
➡️ We observe the replenishment of the enemy's manpower.»

✈️🛰️ On the night of May 19, the Russian Kushchevskaya airfield was attacked by Ukrainian drones. Now fresh Planet Labs satellite images show the damage:
«Ukrainian UAVs were able to damage at least two Russian aircraft, the Su-27 and Su-34.
“We believe that the Su-34 is standing with damaged or removed wings, and the Su-27 is clearly damaged in other parts of the airfield. Also, the Su-30 may be damaged, which may not have changed its position since the 11th of May and will be close to the Su-27,” - said Khrapchinsky.
During the night of the attack, 19th of May, Russian Ministry of Defense stated that 57 drones were shot down over the territory of the region of Russia.»

I'll begin this with the caveat, if reports indeed are correct, but:
Attacking this kind of target isn't a particularly good idea.
It is in everyone's best interest that Russia's ballistic missile warning system works well, especially in times of tension.

Then there's the issue of convincing the West, most importantly the White House, to lift the restrictions on hitting Russia proper.
There's a boatload of targets to go after with UAVs inside Russia, only a handful one should avoid and this was one of the latter.
