The commander of the Russian 20th Combined Arms Army from the Moscow Military District, Lieutenant General Sukhrab Akhmedov, was removed from his post, according to reports.
Lieutenant General Sukhrab Akhmedov was blamed for the failed Vuhledar offensive (Fall 2022-Winter 2023), during which Russia's 40th and 155th Separate Naval Infantry Brigades suffered huge personnel and equipment losses under his command.
Akhmedov was criticized in a letter from the soldiers of the 155th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade to the Governor of Primorye in November 2022, in which they complained about poor leadership during the Battle of Vuhledar.

On 01.05.24 the 138th MRB has was expanded to the 69th MR division.
The first formed regiment: 82nd MRR is attacking Vovchansk, Kharkiv.
Other regiments are likely still forming
