🚀Aftermath of the Ukrainian ATACMS strike on the Russian air defence system positions near Mospyne:
“Yesterday, 05/22/2024, at about 12:50, a missile strike was carried out on air defense positions in the area of the Mospino airfield, Donetsk region.
The strike was carried out using 5 ATACMS ballistic missiles.
Losses:
• 2 S-300/400 air defense missile launchers were destroyed;
• 1 S-300/400 air defense missile launcher was damaged;
• Radar “96L6E” was destroyed;
• The control center of the S-300/400 air defense system was destroyed;
There are no casualties among personnel.”

P.S: Also yesterday a photo of an exploding Russian air defense system has appeared in one Ukrainian telegram channel, which I believe to be related to this strike on Mospyne. So it’s likely that there will be a drone footage of the strike. (However source has not specified the location so it might be not entirely accurate suggestion)

The package is set to include ammunition for M142 HIMARS/M270 MLRS, as well 155 mm and 105 mm artillery rounds, according to two US officials.
(To note, AP article mentions "high mobility artillery rocket systems", not ammunition to them, but I'm certain that's a mistake)
