Pavel Muraveika was appointed the new head of the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces.
The previous chief, Viktar Hulevich, was dismissed from the military service on May 10, 2024 due to age with the right to wear military uniform and insignia. The 54-year-old general had held the post since March 2021.

The EU may ban the export of luxury cars to Belarus, as they are resold in Russia

@FT learned the draft of future EU sanctions against the regime in Belarus. It’s reported that the next EU sanctions will be aimed primarily at synchronization with the current sanctions against Russia.

Among other things, journalists report that the next package may establish a ban on imports of diamonds from Belarus and on exports to Belarus of:
• Some dual-use goods and technologies (which can be used for military purposes);
• Technologies for the production of liquefied natural gas;
• Luxury cars.

The head of Rosatom arrived in Minsk

At 13:39, a Bombardier Global 6000 (RA-67165) landed at Minsk National Airport. It arrived in Belarus from Tomsk, Russia.
According to our information, Aleksei Likhachyov, CEO of Rosatom, was on board this plane.

I lean towards it being a T-64 by wheels and track holes (neither totally clear).
Also as it has an apparent 7th LPR Motor Rifle Brigade tac sign and they are in the Bilohorivka area and have some 2014-15 captured T-64s.
