On May 11, more than 1000 recruits drafted in spring 2024 for compulsory service in the Internal Troops took the military oath.
Also, in April, it was reported that 10 servicemen of the Internal Troops, who entered the military service under contract without completing compulsory service, took the oath. In reality, the number of such servicemen may be higher.
Thus, during the spring conscription, at least 1010 people joined the Internal Troops. In total, it was planned to draft 10,000 people in spring 2024 for compulsory service in the Belarusian Armed Forces, Internal Troops, border guard and state security bodies.
The dynamics of the number of servicemen of the Internal Troops who took the oath in 2004-2024 is presented in the chart.
