As claimed by some Ukrainian sources two Russian Ropucha-class landing ships were damaged as a result of yesterday’s missile strikes on Sevastopol.

The vessels presumably are: Yamal (ex-BDK-67) and Azov (ex-BDK-54). There are no visual confirmations if the ships were indeed damaged yet. At the same time, some Russian sources report that the attack on the ships actually took place. However, the consequences are also not reported.

It is known that at the beginning of March the Project 775 Yamal landing ship was preparing for sea trials in Sevastopol after repairs. While repair work also continued on the BDK project 775 Azov in Sevastopol.
