@Maks_NAFO_FELLA: That’s a Ukraine problem, not a Lindsey Graham problem. US needs to pass aid, that is what Graham should be urging his own party to do, instead of going to Ukraine to talk about the Middle East and telling Ukraine what they need to do when US doesn’t even provide the aid anymore.

@AfroJew84 @sentdefender: It sounds completely unrealistic just like Putin’s statement, but even at that point Kursk, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Ryazan, Lipetsk, Rostov, Krasnodar Krai, Novorossiysk, and Belgorod would all be in range.

@Kingstyler88 @secretsqrl123: There no way it’s stopping M39A1 cluster bomblets where hundreds of them are scattered in a small area, they would need to block it on all sides.

In October, Moldova 🇲🇩 will hold a countrywide referendum on joining the European Union, says Moldovan President Maia Sandu (Bloomberg)

The photo or video was in Syria a couple years ago too so not in Ukraine

@VincentTourret: Yes, and that has played an important role in keeping aging Soviet-era air defenses effective. I'm just saying that there are cheap countermeasures to UAVs as well, and I suspect we will see more cost-effective air defense missiles designed to bring down Orlan type UAVs.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

Just making the point that what we see in Ukraine may not be representative of other wars, and future developments may affect the offense-defense balance regarding UAVs and their countermeasures.

@21aar_show: More than 40% of Shaheds that are shot down are shot down by mobile air defense groups.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@LowRhoUfo: I can't predict how the tech will evolve, I just think many people are underestimating the cost-effective countermeasures that will develop. And we are seeing many in Ukraine right now.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@idontwa86202030 @LowRhoUfo: You can make FPVs more resistant to EW and other countermeasures but that will raise the costs and quantities in which they can be deployed.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@AndriyGP: Yes, you are right, but I'm not sure they are dropping many, or any, non-UMPK bombs at this point.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@Florian93721335: Yes, and the added range for FPVs is more useful given how fortified the front line is.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@KoalaSalesman: Yep, we exaggerate the role of FPVs because we see a greater percentage of their strikes than we do for artillery and other weapons.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@CasualArtyFan @KofmanMichael: What do you do again? Something with boats?
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@ChristoSilvia: It looks like there is some experimentation with that in Ukraine, but that will limit the range, ability to operate over water, and pose other limitations.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@exit266: It depends on many factors, and we hear very different estimates for the hit rate from different people.
