Taiwan needs to be sent all the military aid possible so if China does invade Taiwan then they have no chance of succeeding and for China to know it would be a massive mistake to invade Taiwan. Basically, Taiwan would need everything right now, but they are currently not in a war for their existence. And then at that point if China does invade Taiwan then the US should step in and defend Taiwan.
Israel is different, Hamas is not an existential threat to Israel, and Hezbollah is not at war with Israel and the chances of Hezbollah invading Israel is practically non-existent despite both sides making threats at each other for years now.
