🇺🇲🇮🇶🇸🇾🇮🇷 | US Central Command releases an official statement regarding tonight's airstrikes in Syria and Iraq:

- The US conducted airstrikes against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force and affiliated militia groups;

- 85 (!) targets were struck;

- More than 125 precision munitions were used in the strikes;

- Among the targeted facilities were command & control and intelligence centers, rocket, missile and UAV storages, as well as logistics and munition supply chain facilities of Iran-backed groups and the IRGC.

@CENTCOM: You literally let the enemy know a week in advance of the strikes. Do you really think they left all the weapons in the warehouses? They probably moved lots of their weapons and personnel out. The element of surprise is gone. You’re scared to do serious strikes on militant groups

Multiple secondary explosions after US airstrikes hit an ammunition depot in the area of Al-Bukamal in eastern Syria.

The fire caused munitions cook-off as projectiles can be seen launching uncontrollably into the air.

@Bob_Roony @stranger_five @CENTCOM: So they can do whatever they want, direct militant groups to kill US Soldiers and have no consequences for it because escalation. Iran is doing this because they know US is too weak to strike them. Just like US is too scared of Russia.

@RussiaBattleMap: It’s not like they’d be taking all 10 million people to go fight, it would have to be selective. So people with no families maybe sent to fight, and they don’t need to immediately go to the front, the problem is that there’s too many Russian troops and Ukraine needs to conscript.
