636.🇷🇺108th Air Assault Regt losses on the Verbove front.
Quite a story (long):
A recent mobik to 2nd Company, 1st Batt newly arrived in Verbove. On 29/12 his platoon was divided into 2 groups, the 1st to capture an OP, the 2nd to capture a dug out near Verbove.
His group of 6 men and another group of 6 used BMDs. They were told they would be 130m apart but the 2nd BMD moved away from then during the advance and when they dismounted they realised they were at the wrong place. There was no UAF there and no firing in the treeline so they occupied it. Later they were shelled and only he survived.
Wounded he retreated through a minefield to reach a dug out, but realising the next morning (30/12) that it was UAF held so he surrendered. He was given first aid.
He thinks, the 2nd group did not survive either. His commander died as well. His platoon consisted of 18 men: 2 six-men squads, 2 sappers, and 4 in reserve. The reserve ...

Tomorrow, Ukraine will receive the 150km Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb. It will be able to reach all of Ukraine and 25% of Crimea. Ukraine can hit Dzhankoi if they take a risk and fire GLSDB 8km from the front

@RomanObens: This map has a 12km-15km buffer from the front, if Ukraine would want to hit Dzhankoi then they would need to be 8km from the frontline in a specific location around Beryslav, Kherson
HIMARS has been geolocated in the past firing ~8km from the frontline, it is risky but possible

This is a common misunderstanding amongst outsiders of the situation in the country and how Zaluzhnyi is perceived vs how Zelensky is perceived by the Ukrainian people, politically, by Ukrainian military leaders, and by foreign governments.
