Rare ID of a Russian SSO specialist KIA. Major Sergei Truntov was killed on August 19, 2022 in Ukraine. He was apparently a member of the SSO Kubinka-2 unit. He previously served with the GRU's 22nd Spetsnaz Brigade and took part in the invasion of Crimea and deployed to Syria. https://twitter.com/666_mancer/status/1731775044328546537#m

A fuel truck with concealed 122mm rocket launchers was found in Iraq near the border with Syria following the attack on US base at the Rumalyn Landing Zone in Syria on December 3.
There were no injuries to US personnel or damage to equipment as a result of the attack, @CENTCOM said.

The problem that emerged this summer was that people had a different set of facts, which made honest discussions difficult.

People misinterpreted this. We didn't know many of the details after the 1st month of the war, and many of the early (and reasonable) conclusions proved to not be accurate. It is important to acknowledge uncertainty and update our analysis when new information becomes available.
