- US Navy Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Mason (DDG-87) responded to a distress call from the M/V CENTRAL PARK commercial vessel and prevented its possible hijacking (in the Gulf of Aden). The warship pursued the attackers, resulting in their eventual surrender.
- Two ballistic missiles were fired from Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen toward the general location of the USS Mason (DDG 87) and M/V CENTRAL PARK. The missiles splashed in the water in the Gulf of Aden, approximately ten nautical miles from the ships.

@Greyluck_: You were close: this is a T-62M turret, but with Relikt ERA and Sosna-U gunner's sight, which makes it look like T-90M.
