To round off this thread, what does this damage mean for the future of the Askold. Some thoughts by @KaptainLOMA below.
Based on the pictures, I think it may be too soon to write the Askold off as destroyed but being in a war zone is a complication.
There is the fire on the Provornyy as an example to look to but that happened at a yard in St Petersburg.

Hard to tell the consequences of the Storm Shadow strike. The damage is extensive but appears to be limited to the superstructure.
She could be repaired in theory, but will it be practical? Hard to tell if she is to be counted as damaged or destroyed.

Seems the Askold was well afloat on this imagery, IMO reducing the probability of direct hits punching through the ship.
