On October 24, a J-11 fighter jet of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) conducted an "unsafe intercept" of a US Air Force B-52H strategic bomber, which was performing routine operations over the South China Sea in international airspace, the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) said in a statement.
