A Russian channel says that Lieutenant General Sychevoy was removed from his post as commander of the Bakhmut Group of Forces. Sychevoy was previously the commander of the Western Grouping of Forces but was replaced in 2022.

@oliviayanchik @InfoAgeStrategy: Honestly, I don't think the US wanted to provide Abrams, and only did so in order for Germany to authorize sending Leopards. I think the US was concerned with providing a tank with different logistics/maintenance requirements in addition to the Leopards.
