RT @kromark: Scoop: the Sevastopol Black Sea fleet headquarters strike was a false flag Russian operation designed to conceal the dry dock with smoke, obstructing Western intelligence from monitoring activities near Minsk landing ship and Rostov-na-Donu submarine through satellites.

Interesting sentinel image of Ocheretuvate. The russians does not seem to care that much about where they drive in the terrain, it might indicate the area around the 2nd Surovikin is a lot less mined than the area before the 1st Surovikin line.

@trip_to_valkiri: Got more common towards the end of the war particularly on vehicles carrying heavy weapons like MGs and Bazookas

@dbmee: In terms of prioritizing, it's also a question of money, not only resources, but they might not feel the strain yet.

One should also have thought the never-ending Navy modernization projects were in danger, but no such news there either.

Interesting statement in relation to the Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile program.

One would have thought that particular program was a candidate for being cut in favor of more useful projects but it certainly doesn't seem like that is the case.

@M51_4ever: True. How testing this autumn goes might influence the decision on whether to continue the Burevestnik program too.

@M51_4ever: The propaganda factor likely has a role in sustaining this program but still, if resources needs freeing up, it's a good place to start.

We are a long way from anything resembling a system ready for operational service.
