The commander of the Russian 31st Separate Guards Air Assault Brigade from Ulyanovsk, Colonel Andrey Kondrashkin, was killed in Ukraine.

He is the second commander of the 31 гв. одшбр killed in combat since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

The 31st Separate Guards Air Assault Brigade participated in the assault on Hostomel Airport.

This was first reported by the former commander of the "Vostok" Battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, on his Telegram.
