OS map used by the US military.
It's a very good thing that the map of another team, @UAControlMap, is used by the military.
That says something about the quality provided by volunteer OSINT/Mapping groups.
We are also working together with @UAControlMap: they track the units and their frontline is integrated in our map.
In the Open Source community a lot of mapping teams are working together to make sure we don't all do the same.
And if we do the same: then it's double checked:
You can't be sure enough with all the armchair experts around spreading dis- and misinformation...
And all this volunteer work helps also with countering disinformation spread by official accounts...
So to all the teams: @bellingcat, @Cen4infoRes, @UAControlMap, @GeoConfirmed, @Deepstate_UA, @DefMon3 (a team on his own) and all the others: You are doing great and very important work!
Thanks for all your given free time to make sure people have a better insight in this war!
