RT @Tatarigami_UA: Impressive thread was done by the @Black_BirdGroup about defenses in the south. In relation to this subject, I'd like to add additional insights and context. My intention is not to critique their presented report, but to emphasize crucial details that need to be added. 🧵Thread

Also interesting to see a MiG-31 on the ground at the Engels-2 Air Base.

I presume that this a Kinzhal missile carrier variant - MiG-31I.

RT @moklasen: The Bobr FPV group continues to be RU propaganda's worst nightmare. RU drone hits AFU infantry.
Good AFU progress.

@downinAfrica28: Long time ago I was also believing so, but Russian military and official Russian sources were using the "MiG-31I" designation so I think that this is the proper one.

Footage showing further Ukrainian advances (not clear if it was held). The question is where is the best location to breach the main defensive lines. Kyiv may need to take Novoprokopivka 1st to ensure the advance isn't too narrow, and thus at risk of counterattacks on the flanks.

Much depends on where Russia concentrates its forces, and whether they choose to focus their reserves to hold the main line or on counterattacks.

@exit266: The language used is the same in every statement on intercept/identification, whether over the Barents, off Kamchatka or as here, in the Black Sea.

I tend to disregard that bit and read from these than an intercept happened. At least elsewhere, these are very often verifiable so, I think there's a good chance these UAVs actually were identified.

@JeremyS30670233: Yes, but Russia may choose to focus its forces at Verbove. It depends on where Russia commits its resources.
