@3_bm15: I think it's a political thing rather than for military purposes.

@GermanCucumber1: It's me, but I'm just using it as a placeholder for the time being.

A lot of people ask why RuAF keep counter attacking. I think this is for "political" reasons. This way the local commanders can tell their bosses Ukraine have not managed to take Robotyne yet.
Def Mon (Twitter)

That would make it look like a huge failure for Ukraine on paper. Like they have accomplished nothing during 2.5 moths. This is a great argument for telegram and twitter experts.

In reality, territory gained and lost counted as km/km2 is pretty much irrelevant. This is just as true now as it was during the winter when the russians attacked Bakhmut. What really matters is the attrition ratio.

What we most likely are seeing is RU Southern Military District being highly attired to the point where they need reinforcements from the north. That being said, what we still dont know is how much remaining offensive potential Ukrainian forces have.
Def Mon (Twitter)

@Pate100: No it's much less. RU airborne troops have a total of 45000 personnel. But it's also how you want to count, do you want to count all support/command personel?

@danuneken: NOTAMs is the ICAO mechanism for deconflicting activities that requires airspace from normal civilian traffic, such as military activity and space launches.

This is done around the world, every day. Outside the warzone, the Russians issue NOTAMs as before.

@DefMon3 @Pate100: We are talking about 6 maneuvering regiments, with a total of about 1700 personnel each. Including rgt HQ, artillery, air defense, recon, engineering, maintenance etc.

17. SE of Novoprokopivka
Now further south from tweet 16 by 2.3km,🇺🇦46th Airmobile Bde with 3 more FPV strikes. The 1st hits a BTR-82A, the others unclear results.
A general view emerges (perhaps supported by tweet 15-17) that UAF are trying to flank Novoprokopivka to the east.
A good geolocation in link.
The 2nd strike is indeed nearby at 47.396393,35.874197 h/t @JagdBandera who also locates the 3rd strike slightly more accurately in my opinion at 47.398189,35.873579.

RT @kromark: Russia moved all of its Tu-22 strategic bombers away from the Soltsy airfield after it was attacked by a quad-copter carrying an IED. This attack, likely launched by saboteurs from Russian soil, resulted in the complete destruction of a Tu-22M3 aircraft. Images by @planet

@CorporalFrisk: Seems to be a bit more detailed and updated than the Norwegian "beredskapslovene", for wartime, imminent threat of war or similar circumstances, but these also allows for pretty drastic measures.

RT @CorporalFrisk: Excellent thread by Halminen on what the Finnish state of emergency laws actually allows for. While the ability to take over vehicles (including boats😁) wasn't news to me, the rather drastic and detailed paragraphs discussing money transfers and financial aspects were.

RT @DefMon3: An overview of units currently involved in fighting in the Robotyne direction.

Unit locations are not exact, nor do they represent the location of the entire unit.

@night_waker @CorporalFrisk: Pre-requisitioning of cars is back though fairly limited compared to earlier practices.

As for the laws, the one's from 1950, with some changes through the year are still in force.

This paragraph gives pretty wide ranging powers to the government.
