It's been very quiet from Russian sources on Zapad 2023 since Shoigu announced it last December.
Even if Zapad is canceled, I wouldn't rule out higher than usual Baltic- and Northern Fleet exercise activity, including the air component, over the next month or so.

Natural to think this could be related to tests involving the 9M730 Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile.
There has been quite a bit of maritime activity off Pankovo in recent weeks.

One of my primary take aways from the training thus far is that Ukrainian troops need to have Ukrainian instructors partnered with NATO instructors. Ukrainian instructors understand the nature of the fight, and can help explain lessons better to new Ukrainian soldiers.

There are two NOTAMs, matching in time, indicating something from the White Sea or Plesetsk to Kura between the 30th and the 4th.
The issue is that on the western end, there's not apparent match.

In the White Sea however there's this one.
On first glance, this looks more like LACM, sea trials of the Yasen-M Krasnoyarsk being a good candidate.
The timing though partly matches so this might cover for Bulava from the Imperator Aleksandr III too.
Time will tell.
