US Central Command announced that an ISIS leader in eastern Syria, Usamah al-Muhajir, was killed in a US drone strike on Friday.
According to the statement, the strike was conducted by the same MQ-9s that had, earlier in the day, been harassed by Russian fighter jets over Syria.

Recently, the Russian forces attempted to attack Ukrainian positions north of Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast of Ukraine.
The assault was repelled, and the Russians lost at least one T-72B3 obr. 2016 tank and a number of BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles as a result.
