@VictorishB123 The hull detection system had no purpose since once the hull is cracking, it’s not going to stop at that depth with such immense pressure

@ManSalouh Yes, this bring them happiness and joy. There are also brainwashed people trying to justify it because a soldier went to eat a pizza at a restaurant once. And came to help out civilians at the scene after it got bombed. Vantiks claim that mercenaries stationed there with no proof

"A senior Russian general [Surovikin] had advance knowledge of Yevgeny Prigozhin's plans to rebel against Russia's military leadership, according to U.S. officials ...there are signs that other Russian generals may have also supported Prigozhin's attempt"

When this began, Surovikin made a video appearance condemning the move with a submachine gun. He is the commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces. There are some questions about their actions during this event, but Wagner also shot down several aircraft.2/

@RALee85:
Not particularly relevant given the circumstances, but Surovikin is armed with a PP-2000 submachine gun. https://t.co/UwLSQeqSxq https://t.co/qrXPJjJBJY

"Still, American officials have an interest in pushing out information that undermines the standing of General Surovikin, whom they view as more competent and more ruthless than other members of the command. His removal would undoubtedly benefit Ukraine." 3/

@RussiaBattleMap @ManSalouh The excuse that a restaurant becomes a military target because a soldier dined there once is fundamentally flawed. In any country, including USA and Russia, restaurants and other public places are frequently visited by many different people, including off-duty soldiers grabbing a… https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1673864304439750656

Surovikin led Russian forces in Ukraine from October-January when he was replaced by Gerasimov. My view was that this was, at least in part, a means of solidifying MoD control over the war when Prigozhin was taking on a larger role. 4/

@RALee85:
This reasserts the MoD's position overseeing the war. Prigozhin has praised Surovikin while criticizing Lapin and the senior leadership of the MoD. This may also partially be a response to Wagner's increasingly influential and public role in the war.

Of course, there is a significant difference between active and passive support for Prigozhin's actions, and no Russian generals publicly declared support for him. It will also be interesting to see where Mikhail Mizintsev is who reportedly joined Wagner after being relieved. 5/

RT @KOvsianyi: In the occupied #Crimea, Russia has built a new military base in the village Shiroke near Simferopol, next to the railway station and the Gvardiyske military airfield. Polish President Duda: the presence of the Wagner Group & Prigozhin in Belarus is a serious problem. We must take
some decisions, very strong decisions; I think it requires a lot very tough response from NATO.

"American officials and others interviewed... emphasized that much of what the United States and its allies know is preliminary." Worth keeping in mind. 6/

@RadioFreeTom Well, the forces at the river outside Moscow, included the FSB and Rosgvardia, who aren't under his command. And Wagner had to problem shooting down Russian Air Force aircraft, whom Surovikin commands. Still alot of questions.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

Just want to emphasize that Surovikin is the commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces, and Wagner shot down 7+ aircraft, including several aircraft that weren't armed. Strange thing to do if the commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces was actively supporting you.

@RadioFreeTom He may have realized that he would be under suspicion once the whole thing began because of the positive things Prigozhin said about him. Also, announcing you're taking action before your forces are in Russia is a strange way to conduct a coup. We'll have to wait to find out.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@Joe_Webster_CRR @RadioFreeTom I think some of the helicopters were being used to track the movement of the columns, not necessarily to shoot at them. I think at least two of the aircraft had nothing to do with this. They were reportedly coming back from Ukraine and were shot down.

@cratefacts Agreed, but that is the conclusion people will jump to.
