Future Patriots aren't here today. They will also have to replace legacy systems, S-300s in particular, as missile stocks for those dwindle. Here the numbers won't add up, so Ukr will have to continue to prioritize between rear areas and frontline coverage.

While the fog of war lays thick, this likely has some impact on current ops and if things go mobile, potentially much greater than now.
Therefore, the continued Russian deep strikes makes sense to me, despite the limited damage they inflict.

@nkhaugen Splitting at a certain latitude was just throwing out a thought. While it was a smaller area, similar dilemmas and challenges existed with BALTAP and Schleswig Holstein.
Integrating into a common air force will meet C2 challenges over the Baltic, Baltics and possibly also Poland

Western systems aren't available in large numbers, unless the Americans are prepared to deliver Patriot in quantity, meaning not batteries but brigade equivalents. Ukraine is a large country.

According to NRK, President Biden has asked Stoltenberg to continue as NATOs Secretary General.
Reportedly, Stoltenberg hasn't accepted yet, but NRKs sources say "it takes a lot to say no, when it's the US President who's asking"
