Russian sources have started talking about a counterattack by the 127th MRD / 5th CAA on the Velyka Novosilka axis.

As both sides try to force the other to commit reserves, this will likely be the norm. An ebb and flow of attack, counterattacks.

This also means Russian units are exposing themselves in the open terrain to both artillery and direct fires

@fuckig_idiot I do say it's impossible to tell what's actually happening at this stage.

The point I'm trying to make is that counterattacks, even large ones, are to be expected and this exposes Russian units. At this stage, attrition matters more than who controls what village.
