A private citizen writing to the Norwegian Armed Forces on April 15th 1940, with his private and creative plan for retaking Agdenes Fort in Trondheimsfjorden.
It involves dumping barrels of gasoline from aircraft to burn the Germans out.

While I believe we are in a new phase, I don't think the main effort has started yet, though there seems to be some progress in certain areas.
Even if very successful, this will be a bloody campaign. There will be more footage of destroyed and burning Western supplied equipment.

The last time Western countries tried something like this was in Korea, supported by intensive air airpowe, which Ukraine doesn't have.
While I previously have been talking about managing expectations, don't loose heart after a few probing actions.

@A01895559 Can't compare it to the reach, intensity and firepower delivered by airpower in all major Western offensives since about '42/'43.
Especially the limited means Ukraine has to reach beyond tube artillery, considering the scale of the battlefield and size of the Russian forces.
