RT @BlagulaBilen: Medicinsk utrustning och förnödenheter som en röntgenläkare samlat ihop. Vi hämtade så mycket vi fick plats med i vår bil i söndags. Hon har även fått tag på röntgenutrustning 💪
OBS: ingen officiell region-donation.
WHAT SVENSKA REGIONER DOING?!? 🤬

If Wagner does leave, it will be interesting to see if their convicts are left behind and forced to serve in MoD units. MoD Storm Z units composed of convicts are becoming more common on the front.
-----------
@ChristopherJM:
Yevgeny Prigozhin says Wagner is beginning to pull out of Bakhmut after leading the Russian effort to destroy and seize the city. The mercenary group will complete its withdrawal on June 1, and hand over positions to Russia’s regular military, he says. https://t.co/LC4z7x57Gx

RT @KofmanMichael: @RALee85 @RuslanLeviev @DrPaulyDeSantis @Havoc_Six I find Prigozhin’s numbers unreliable and inconsistent even within the same interview. He gives large figures for UA losses as well and his as ratio. Beyond his motivation, he regularly makes errors in basic math when you revisit past interviews.

Prigozhin was in consistent in that interview, which is another reason to be cautious when accepting his claims.
-----------
@kromark:
@RuslanLeviev @RALee85 @DrPaulyDeSantis @Havoc_Six @KofmanMichael He says 20% of 50K convicts (10K) + equal number of KIA among his "own" mercenaries (not convicts) = 20K. Then he says he lost 3,2 times less than 50K UA KIA (16,6K). Not a big difference (still probably it would have been correct to notice this difference in the news story).

@poliitikasse Yeah and Wagner can maintain discipline in those units through extreme measures, which I don't think the MoD can replicate.

Dmitry has done a great job tracking Wagner losses. I think the 16.6k KIA figure (with ~10,000 convicts and ~6,600 professionals) makes more sense than the 20,000 (and fits with Dmitry's numbers).
-----------
@dm_e:
@RALee85 Before the Bakhmut we only knew about 200-300 mercenaries.
4k+1.5k+≈3k≈8,5 that what we know for sure. Usually we see every second loss, but as for the prisoners, this visibility will obviously be less

RT @ChrisO_wiki: 1/ The extraordinary success of the Russian Volunteer Corps in taking over a chunk of the Russian border for a day and a half was reportedly due to it being virtually undefended. It was guarded by only 25 men, 23 of whom were barely-trained conscripts. ⬇️

Logging by prisoners from Russia's Federal Penitentiary Service was down by 31% in 2022 year-on-year. You can guess why.

@RALee85:
I think 15-20k KIA is possible. Keep in mind that Wagner's ratio of KIA:WIA was much worse than for MoD units because convicts were used in a more expendable way and they were the majority of Russian casualties in the city. A Wagner 2:1-1:1 KIA:WIA ratio in Bakhmut is feasible. https://t.co/f6iQSkM3KM
