@nka979 Is it "Most Stupid Claim Competition" time again?

It is obviously a Finnish 152K89 with Finnish camo and even the same speed limit markings in yellow.

Speaking of submarines, Norway entered that business fairly early, with HNoMS Kobben (later A-1) commissioned in 1909.

A fun-fact: The first Norwegian aircraft was bought by "Submarine Kobben's Flight Committee", funded by donations, and with Kobben's XO was the pilot.

RT @TadeuszGiczan: Food for thought for cultural anthropologists: The Russian (or should I say Soviet?) occupational administration in Melitopol renamed the city streets today. Ukrainian Street became Soviet Street, with other streets renamed after Lenin, Karl Marx, Rosgvardia, and Daria Dugina. https://twitter.com/TadeuszGiczan/status/1646198316688982026/photo/1

@AngelISo2 This shows their accomplishments. The bars shows ships sunk, white for merchant ships and red for warships. Daggers means special mission such as commando insertions.

Ula was one of the most successful Allied submarines in the European theatre.

Footage of Ukrainian artillerymen from 406th Separate Artillery Brigade firing a 152-K-89/2A36 Giatsint-B 152mm field gun, provided by Finland.

Its origin can be recognized by the characteristic camo. The delivery of this weapon to Ukraine wasn't publicly announced by Helsinki. https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1646216474187399182

@ruslantrad lots of speculation in this. Have seen US call them Vagner all the time for example

RT @oryxspioenkop: I’ve stopped posting daily updates of the Russo-Ukrainian losses lists because I’m fed up with it. I’m still updating the lists until @Rebel44CZ again takes over later this month however.

If you need me you can find me at this little piece of paradise writing poems ❤️ https://twitter.com/oryxspioenkop/status/1646172488928317440/photo/1

@john_marquee @ruslantrad Same date format that the article alleges the US don’t use too

@Staffiice Yes Wagner PMC are largely Russians. Until someone puts them in the ground.

Не знаю, кого саме там ховають, але точно знаю, що їх вбила росія. https://twitter.com/externalPilot/status/1646164226111684612/photo/1

A short post out on Substack on current Northern Fleet activity, including a look at Sentinel-2 imagery from today.

The Marshal Ustinov, likely 1 x Udaloy-class DDG and the Ivan Gren are at sea.

Number of SSBNs at sea is 3.

One Yasen likely still out.

@staffanst We have had an independent Navy since 1814, also when in the Union with Sweden

Our first real defense buildup, where lots of resources went to the Navy, started in the 1890s due to the possibility that getting out of the Union could end in war with Sweden.

Yes, the effectiveness of GPS guided munitions can be degraded through jamming, so this shouldn't come as a suprise in a large scale war.

@laraseligman:
NEW: US-made smart bombs are falling victim to Russian jamming in Ukraine, causing them to miss their targets, according to leaked docs & a DOD official.

The weapons were also failing to detonate due to a technical issue, which Kyiv has since addressed. https://t.co/BQqx7lF0dt

Russian forces captured an elevator and a building today in Bakhmut. However the AFU managed to defend High value targets like the railway station public bathroom containing 5 toilets, and the John Deere repair shop with extensive schematics of tractors.
