Looks like the encampment/depot at Medvedivka, northern Crimea has been just about emptied.

This depot likely held reserve equipment for the southern direction; the "Dnepr" and "Vostok" Groupings.

@bradyafr:
The removal of Russian military equipment from this depot in occupied Crimea can be seen clearly when comparing high resolution satellite imagery from February 11th to March 16th. https://t.co/wM6YWO91fa

A quick look at Sentinel-1 SAR-imagery shows that withdrawal of equipment from Medvedivka has continued after the high res imagery above.

Here is a time-lapse of March 17th and yesterday, April 5th.

Going by SAR imagery, the site looks very empty now.

Very interesting thread on storm units in the 8th CAA.

@Tatarigami_UA:
Thread🧵

I obtained a russian document titled "Regulation on Storm Units Z of the 8th Combined Arms Army." This document outlines the objectives, organization, and logistical requirements of 'Storm Z' units. After analyzing its contents, I have distilled the main points. https://t.co/vY5cqqzQRw

Placing adaptations, such as this, into the context of Russian military thinking.

@VDV_Textbooks:
@Tatarigami_UA thread demonstrates that 🇷🇺 military is trying to adapt to situation. This is what military academy teachers say about tactics.

I think the emptying of Medvedivka should be seen in the light of Russian preparations for the expected Ukrainian offensive(s).

@Oranjemarker Thanks. Good research you are right. Its clear from the film you linked.

@Tvisyn Don't know where it has gone.

It could have been used to replace losses, equip new units, moved further to the rear or a combination of all three.

But I do think it's likely this is related to defensive Russian actions, not offensive.

#Ukraine: In the East, the Ukrainian 45th Artillery Brigade hit a Russian T-90M tank with a captured 9K129-series Kornet ATGM system, then used a drone to drop two "Molotov Balloons" on the damaged tank.
