@JohnHanzl Yes this is true. In that role they can be of some use although will still be vulnerable to drones or artillery. Azerbaijan used some (about a company) in that way in 2020. But they did not face a strong drone or artillery counter threat at the time.

Zelensky visited the Donbas again, reportedly Konstantinivka. Like his last visit to Bakhmut, some of the soldiers look like they came straight from the front line.
The optics of the visit seem like a huge contrast to Putin's recent visit to Mariupol (some say it was his double)

@Getford1 Exact specs I won't go into but Leo and Challenger are 3rd generation tanks. There's no comparison. The T-55 can still be of use against untrained infantry if they have no AT weaponry (unlikely). Or it can be utilised in long-range indirect fire (inaccurate) as mobile artillery.
