To clarify my concerns:

I interpret the Russian operations since January as a possible attempt to prevent, or at least restrict and disrupt the expected coming Ukrainian offensives by forcing an early commitment of reserves and supplies, esp artillery ammunition.

By trying cling on to terrain in one sector under now unfavorable circumstances, with the resulting losses and expenditures, I see a risk of Russia achieving this.

There are of course unknowns here, but Bakhmut looks different than Vuhledar, west of Kreminna, Svatove or Kupyansk

That seems like a massive reward for Russia. They get to kill hundreds of thousands of people and keep 100% of the land that they stole before 2022

@emcon_delta @Dok_Livesey @sentdefender Maybe because in that photo his full name was cut off in the name tag. So they wanted to put the full name in the photo on the patch so people can see it. It's not like they are photo shopping his body features.
