Modern warfare has made every arm more vulnerable, so you mitigate those vulnerabilities through combined arms. If you want to conduct offensive operations against entrenched forces, you have to mass combat power, and tanks are more likely to survive than the alternatives.

#Ukraine: The previously unseen wreckage of a Russian Su-25SM close air support jet (RF-95152, 15 "Blue") was found near Chornobaivka, #Kherson Oblast.

The jet was lost under unknown circumstances this autumn but the video from location appeared only now.

The combination of armor, mobility, and firepower that tanks provide is still important in ground warfare. Tanks have a number of flaws, but so do all of the alternatives and you would lose a key capability by doing away with them.
