Significant drop in temperatures starting this weekend. With temperatures the ground will freeze quickly. It will be interesting to see if there will be an increase in pace if the ground freeze.

Rain changing to snow JAN 5-7.
Sub-freezing temps predicted JAN 7-15 with hard freeze by JAN 9.

There are absolutely no news coming from the Kreminna front. The AFU keep a tight lid on information. I get a feeling the AFU has dropped back a bit again, possibly as a result of RU counter attacks'

It seems RuAF are targeting now targeting the north flank of Bakhmut, the rumors are Soledar will be targeted. There are talk about up to 4-5 battalions of VDV begin allocated to the Soledar area as operational reserves.

The AFU repulsed attacks around Bakhmut, Klishchiivka and Ozeryanivka. I believe this section of the Bakhmut front is fairly stable, RU units try to cross the canal, but get their asses handed to them by UA artillery. (the canal is not that big of an obstacle)

The AFU repulsed attacks around Opytne and Krasnogorivka. This is a heavily fortified section of the frontline and it has barely moved in years, I don't expect major changes here in the near future.

Unconfirmed: I received info from a local on 2 suspected🇺🇦strikes on Arabatska Spit (links Crimea) + Pryozerne on night 01-2 Jan. The latter was rumoured intercepted by AD, but a huge explosion (suspected ammo) was herd on the Spit. Reportedly no Ru TV/radio since in Henichesk. https://t.co/RT4Z19SBcJ
