The crew of the Norwegian Intelligence Service AGI FS Eger made a gingerbread version of their ship, built to scale with working navigation lights.

Men of the Norwegian 330 (N) Squadron celebrates Christmas on Iceland.
The Squadron was at that time flying Catalina's and Northrop N3-PBs, and was shortly due to transfer to Scotland.
While operating from Iceland, 12 aircraft and 21 men had been lost.
