The Royal Norwegian Navy WW2 veteran Trygve Hansen passed away on December 20th, at the age of 100.
He survived the sinking of HNoMS Eskdale in April '43, and served on HNoMS Stord in the Battle of North Cape, where Scarnhorst was sunk, and D-Day.

I fjor reiste Hansen til Norge for å delta på markeringene for krigsveteranene, og for å møte både kongen og daværende statsminister Erna Solberg.
