A fire broke out on the only Russian aircraft carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov". Since 2018 Kuznitsov has been under repair in Murmansk which should continue until 2024.
This is not the first fire incident, in 2019, a fire broke out during which 2 people died and 14 were injured.

The Royal Norwegian Navy WW2 veteran Trygve Hansen passed away on December 20th, at the age of 100.
He survived the sinking of HNoMS Eskdale in April '43, and served on HNoMS Stord in the Battle of North Cape, where Scarnhorst was sunk, and D-Day.
