@ColinRobinsonNZ Yes in the case of T-12/MT-12's. As a smoothbore gun it allows higher pressures, thus higher projectile speeds. Its still well-regarded. Although old its maintained in AT role by UAF for this reason. Additionally here it will be used for indirect fire as UAF lacks arti rounds.

@ColinRobinsonNZ Yes primarily as an AT gun. Each UAF manoeuvre brigade has an AT battalion which amoung other weapons include one company of MT-12 AFAIR.
