An interesting account of the Ukrainian Neptune missiles and the sinking of the Moskva.
Though the detection range may seem unlikely to some, I think Ukrainians got help from a phenomenon called ducting.

Also worth noting that, according to this article, the sinking of the Moskva wasn't the first engagement.
In the first few days 3 x Neptunes were reportedly launched at a Russian amphib group south of Mykolaiv, but no hits were scored.

@AlexLuck9 I can confirm that in conditions of low and dense clouds in this area, our usual navigation radar saw targets at a distance significantly exceeding the calculated distance.
