This also makes sense in light of a looming munitions crisis.

Giving Ukraine the ability to strike deeper targets, especially logistics, would likely alleviate pressure on frontline units, thus buying time to spool up Western armaments industry for the long run.

27th November is Russian Naval Infantry Day.
I would like to congratulate the Russian 155th Naval infantry Brigade (or what is left of it) on their magnificent victory of almost capturing Pavlivka. #almost
