The Ukrainian General Staff reported shellings all along the active frontline. They reported additional shellings in the Kherson area but the locations were left out.

It seems Wagner has gotten some fresh cannon fodder to throw in to the fight. I do not see what the Russians are after by trying to take Bakhmut. They would be better off using those troops down at Donetsk to try to create buffer for the city.

The RU intentions are still not clear to me. It is not impossible they are saving their advanced equipment and elite units and intend to try to hold Kherson city with cannon fodder. They will however have huge problems if they lose another 20km in northern Kherson.

This displays the problem. 20km is how much the AFU needs to advance to have the NK dam gloc route in barrel artillery range. (I'm talking about the normal "cheap" shells now, I know there are longer range variants)

On 7 september info was released by UA forces, they hit an area, were 🇷🇺 forces were trying to setup an alternative crossing of the Dnipro river, apperantly they hit it while barges loaded with equipment where about to set sail.
