According to Baza, a mobilized Russian reservist in Orenburg was killed in training when a grenade launcher exploded next to him, possibly due to old ammunition.

🇺🇦 Ukraine Weapons Tracker (Twitter)

#Ukraine: Yesterday a video appeared allegedly showing "Russian troops transporting an ancient D-1 howitzer" - that's not true.

We tracked down the source- it was posted by a Ukrainian soldier and doesn't show a D-1, but a Ukrainian M-46 130mm field gun, donated by Croatia.

Though D-1 howitzers were already spotted in the hands of Russian forces in Ukraine, there is no need to spread misinformation.

@UAWeapons:
#Ukraine: The first photos of a D-1 152mm howitzer in use by Russian (LNR) forces- they were transferred to the DNR/LNR in the end of August, but photos appeared just now.
The D-1 first entered service with the Red Army in 1943.
