@VictorishB123 They actually may already have GMLRS-ER. Because the Under Secretary of Defense said that Ukraine can hit Crimea with the Himars. Meaning they have at least 140 km either the new extended range version or the older versions can shoot further.

@VictorishB123 And I’ve seen a lot say that they do want ATACMS and need it. They’re going to need ATACMS if they want to hit the majority of Crimea often or destroy larger/stronger targets. They would need to take almost all of Crimea before they can hit the Kerch Bridge with standard GMRS. 🇺🇦

@VictorishB123 That’s just not true at all. Normal GMLRS goes at 2.5 Mach, ATACMS goes at 3.5 Mach. And where did he get 50 tomahawks from? It’s a weak bridge apparently the truck explosion collapsed the entire road. Watch a video of ATACMS it maneuvers around a ton its very hard to shoot down.

@VictorishB123 That’s the whole point, it’s hard to shoot down because it doesn’t fly at a ballistic trajectory. It’s constantly maneuvering as a ballistic trajectory is predictable. And where does it say that it goes significantly slower during regular flight do you have a source for that?

@VictorishB123 That’s not true Atacms has a 226kg warhead which is actually 500lbs not 250lbs.

@VictorishB123 Unless you have some type of source that backs up your claim that it goes extremely slow before hitting. But as far as I can see it’s going over 3 Mach the whole time.

@VictorishB123 But how much slower that’s the question. This happens with a lot of Missiles with aerodynamics but they don’t dramatically slow down. I’ve read it’s over 3 mach for ATACMS. Do you have anything that show it’s going slower than normal GMLRS under 2.5 Mach?

@VictorishB123 That guy didn’t really know what he’s talking about by saying US need 50 tomahawks to take out the Crimean Bridge. You claimed 2000lbs destroyed a significant part of the bridge. One tomahawk has a 1000lbs warhead. USA wouldn’t need 50,000lbs to take out a weak Crimean bridge. 🇺🇦
