Ukraine 🇺🇦 will get 4 HAWK systems from Spain 🇪🇸 that equip a battery with 4 to 6 radars per system, holding up to 6 launchers per battery, and 3 missiles per launcher
If all launchers are loaded, Ukraine can launch 72 missiles, that are best used on short range and slow targets

@rudolf_renner It's not an amazing system. For researching it all day, I can tell you that it’ll not shoot down Russian Fighter Jets like Mig-29 and maybe destroyed by them.
It'll be used mainly for slow moving targets. It's very outdated. USA stopped using this systems for Stinger and Patriot.

@rudolf_renner This system was good at shooting down Russian Planes from the 1960s and the 1970s. It has locked onto a Mig-29 but never shot it down and then it was getting destroyed by newer planes. Most of the NATO countries that had this system retired it in the late 1990s and early 2000s.🇺🇦

@VictorishB123 I know I am well aware of that. Some people were confused I explained that to them. 1 standard launch from HIMARS is 1 pod with 6 Rockets, but in Ukraine they need to preserve Ammunition so maybe they’ll do one or two rockets per launch. But the cost of one rocket is not $62,000.
