I'm more certain of my geolocation now to 49.036064, 37.739269 (not Izyum).

When Kharkiv fell, it was an open question whether Russia had sufficient forces to defend its entire front line or if it needed to retrench (Kherson was the obvious choice). Ukrainian advances in the Donbas are partially a result of this choice by Putin.

Alexander Kots confirms that Russian forces withdrew from Lyman to Kreminna, though it doesn't sound like Russia has strong defenses prepared there. He says Ukraine could now push towards Svatove, Kreminna, or Lysychansk.
