The Gray Eagle can fly up to 400km, can carry 4 Hellfire Missiles, and can fly for 27 hours

@FellasDude And the Gray Eagle Drones likely won’t get shot down like the Bayraktar’s do. The problem with Bayraktar’s is Russia has already figured them out and Ukraine🇺🇦 can’t fly them across the frontline into Russian territory without risking them being shot down by Russian air defenses.

@kueilelee USA won’t be sending the Gray Eagle drones to Ukraine unless they are confident they won’t be shot down by Russia. The Gray Eagle costs 15-30 times more than the Bayraktar and has a lot more high tech equipment that will help them evade radars and be a lot harder to shoot down.🇺🇦

@tobi_mcguire Because they are very expensive and extremely high tech drones which will not be easily shot down by Russia if even seen on a radar. They can take out Generals and Important equipment with the Hellfire Missiles, they can carry 8 Stingers and shoot down Russian Planes/Helicopters.

@UpTheRA03982085 There is two reasons USA isn’t sending them to Ukraine yet, the first is there’s no NASAMS to protect the airports they’ll be stationed at. The second is there is High Tech equipment that USA doesn’t want Russia getting if they unexpectedly get shot down. But it’s a low chance.🇺🇦

@KivelaPetri I believe they will be sent after Ukraine gets NASAMS. They are extremely high tech with 400km range and they will help Ukraine a lot. The drones can carry up to 8 Stingers and shoot down helicopters/planes. The Hellfire Missiles can take out Commanders and important equipment.🇺🇦

@thanosmiss235 The Biden Admin has been considering this for months and planned to sell Ukraine 4 Gray Eagle Drones. Then the review process was started and is taking months so a lot of Congress members have written request to The Pentagon to expedite the review process.

@thanosmiss235 That article is from June 1st, almost 4 months ago when USA was planning to sell Ukraine 4 Gray Eagle Drones “in the coming days”. And Reapers and Predator drones would be top shelf stuff, Gray Eagles are older and less advanced drones.

@UpTheRA03982085 That is why USA is planning to take out some of the high tech equipment before they give them to Ukraine. But I still believe Russia wouldn’t be able to recreate that equipment. Russia likely has gotten advanced US equipment that was from the Middle East, and can’t recreate it.🇺🇦
