@isdche54235290 I think you are wrong.

@DefMon3:
What this means? I think it means Slovyansk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut will not ever fall in to RU control.
A month ago I thought that there was a decent chance for RuAF to capture them.

I think this started a long time ago.

I think the Russians and I agreed they were never going to progress.

@isdche54235290 The Bobrova statement didn't turn out to be wrong.
I said the RU presence in Yaremivka and Studenok had been greatly reduced. That was not wrong. Eastern MD was supposed to have set up there, and then they were moved to the south.

@isdche54235290 Them moving Central military district away 1 week before the UA offensive doesn't indicate to you this might have been planned? They barely left anything to defend it, and they knew about UA gathering troops in that area for over a month.

@isdche54235290 I think it's very relevant, this reveals a bit about their intentions.

It is possible we have seen a repeat of the Kyiv retreat. A lot of the equipment losses we saw after the RU withdrawal there were from earlier combat, and not losses during the retreat.

@IAPonomarenko Izium was always hard for them to supply, just as they were getting done with repairing the railway system, Ukraine got HIMARS. So they got in to supply trouble again. At some point they had gathered impressive amounts of artillery and equipment. But we never saw an offensive.

@mattlindn The fact that you think there was extensive amount of ammo and function equipment makes me think you are confused.

@AndrewPerpetua As i said. It didn't go as planned, they probably needed a few more weeks to move all the remaining semi broken equipment.

@tgrxe They had massive amount of artillery there, and at some point almost 40BTGs but we never saw them use that firepower. I think just as they got the railway supply working, UA got himars. The M03 was in UA artillery range, and the other roads are shit.

I see a lot of arguments of "Large amount of ammo" and "Too much working equipment"
Before you comment, tell me, how many days worth of ammo for a brigade have you seen?
How much of that equipment was actually in combat ready contention?

I think what was left behind in terms of equipment was stuff needing repairs. I think they were in the processing of moving everything out, but needed another week or two.
