Senior CBM Delegation Visits Cheshire Ethiopia
We were honored to welcome the high level Delegation from CBM, led by Ato Abinet Berhanu, CBM Ethiopia Country Director, to Cheshire Ethiopia this week on May 27th and 28th 2025. The visit aimed to introduce the newly assigned Regional Program Director and Head of Global Program Quality.
The delegation met with CE’s senior management team and Board of Directors (BoD) members, Visited CE’s Addis Paediatrics Rehabilitation Center, the IGA wing, and visited the pediatric rehabilitation and boarding care units, physiotherapy departments, prosthetics and orthotics workshops, wheel chair and crutch productions and the eye care unit at Menagesha and Hawassa Rehabilitation Centers.
The guests expressed their positive impression on our integrated referral system with government health facilities, Clean, accessible, and child-friendly facilities, Committed and skilled staff, strong safeguarding practices and the income generating initiatives that promote self-reliance.
Additionally, they shared thoughtful recommendations for strengthening the business development plan to ensure sustainability and self- reliance. They also requested that CE to set up a permanent fixture on its premises to recognized the long-standing partnership between CE and CBM.
