🔴UK University Issues Blockchain-based Certificate to Manage COVID19 Risks

🔻Covid19 has posed the gravest dangers upon goods across the value chain. Therefore, developing proper solutions is required to protect consumers from health risks. To deal efficiently with the imminent dangers posed by the post-pandemic world, a newly-launched “4th Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies Centre”, co-founded by Birmingham City University, is testing a blockchain-based Coronavirus Clearance Certificate (CCC).
The aforesaid certificate proves that people have followed the due requirements of health protocols to break the COVID19 transmission chain. Moreover, the certificate confirms that a supplier adheres to highest standards of public health, sustainability, anti-bribery and even modern slavery.

🔴One of Canada’s Top 50 Companies Employs Blockchain to Strengthen its Supply Chain

🔻Federated Co-operatives Limited, or FCL, one of Canada’s 50-largest companies has announced partnership with blockchain-based supply chain middleware platform, Morpheus.Network to strengthen its diverse supply chain.
FCL works primarily on agriculture, food, and energy sectors along with operating in home and building solutions. The FCL generated $9.2 billion during 2019. Morpheus.Network endeavors to replace FCL’s existing manual processes with automated tracking and compliance management solutions.
Big names such as BMW, GM, Ford, and Renault, alongside tech firms Bosch, Hyperledger, IBM, and Iota, are going to implement blockchain-based supply chain solutions.
