Btw, it’s only one day old, so it might be worth keeping an eye on while most of CT is still sleeping on it. That said, it could also end up being a scam, so proceed with caution

Not doing too well😩 My average entry is at the 33% spread, and I’m currently sitting on an unrealized loss after the spread widened beyond 38%
Looking back, I definitely didn’t do enough deep research beforehand. I only recently learned that mean reversion between an ADR and its underlying stock can take months, or even more than a year, to play out. The spread can also widen far beyond what I initially expected, potentially exceeding 100%
A good case study is TSMC, where the spread between the ADR and the underlying stock has historically reached extremely wide levels:
Open Tradingview and type : (NYSE:TSM/(TWSE:2330*5/FX_IDC:USDTWD)-1)*100
Definitely a good reminder that just because a spread looks statistically attractive doesn’t mean mean reversion will happen anytime soon
